We’ll try anything…almost.
So…We have been trying everything for inducing labor. Walking, spicy food, rocking, pressure points, and the horizontal mambo.
She’s avoided the Castor Oil, but we keep talking about it. I offered to find her a Castor oil enema…to a less than warm response.
So last night, I was trying to be witty and alittle randy. You can read the outcome at her site.

I went into a labor a few hours before I was to go to the hospital to be induced. For lunch that day, we had eaten at a Persian buffet that has a killer baba ghanouj. A few months after my daughter was born, I heard that eggplant can start contractions. Not sure if that is true, but if your wife likes eggplant, it would not hurt. Right?

It must be eggplant! Sudie says there’s a place in ATL called Scalini’s (?) and supposedly if you eat the eggplant parmesean (I have no idea how to spell that!) you’ll go into labor w/in 24 hours (ya know IF you’re preggers & due that is!) They even have a wall of “Scalini babies” photos.

Hm. Knowing how castor oil works, I wonder if I would expect the same results from eggplant.
I’M WILLING TO TRY ANYTHING AT THIS POINT.
